Golfing for good: 2023 3M Open raises $101,000 for M Health Fairview Masonic Children’s Hospital
August 10, 2023

The 3M Open golf tournament, an official PGA Tour stop and part of the FedEx Cup series, took place from July 27-30 this year. It brought together the world’s finest golfers and offered a thrilling competition in the Twin Cities. Beyond the excitement on the greens, the tournament also fulfills a noble purpose by supporting nonprofits through the 3M Open Fund.

Established in 2019 by 3M and the PGA TOUR, the 3M Open Fund serves as the primary fundraiser for local and regional charitable organizations, including the esteemed M Health Fairview Masonic Children’s Hospital. This year, the 3M Open raised an impressive $101,000, which will go a long way in aiding patients and their families at the hospital. The tournament also featured Kids Captains—current and former patients of Masonic Children’s Hospital—who were invited to be pin flag attendants on the 17th hole.
